Selda Gehrke 1922-2015
Selda Gehrke passed away during the evening of June 29th, at the age of 92. A former resident of Martin Luther Tower and long-time member of St. Mark’s and our choir, Selda had a long, healthy and happy life. As a granddaughter said, "She loved and was devoted to her husband every day after he was gone just the same as when he was alive. She loved her family and spending time with them. 'It's in the genes,' she would say when referring to anyone in the family's good looks or musical talent. Music was certainly one of her greatest sources of joy, particularly Bach's music.”

A memorial service for Selda will be held at 2 PM on September 6th at All Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverley Street, in Palo Alto.
