Thank you, Farewell and Godspeed

Today is our teaching parish student Maggie Falenschek’s final Sunday at St. Mark’s. She begins her year-long internship at University Lutheran Church in Palo Alto. We have been blessed by her presence. Please take time to thank her and bid her farewell.

Refresh, Renew, Restore during Midweek Worship!

You are invited to a delicious supper and contemplative worship which takes place every Wednesday at St. Mark's. We begin with supper starting at 6:00 pm in Heritage Hall, followed by a simple and inspiring worship service with Holy Communion from 6:45 to 7:15 pm in the beautiful sanctuary. The worship service features meditative music, communion and candlelight. Come and be refreshed in the middle of your week through a meal and worship.

Summer Day Camp

Day Camp is a unique partnership between Mt. Cross Summer Camp and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Join us for a week of faith-based fun, which includes group games, arts & crafts, worship, community building activities and Bible Encounters. Dates: July 8-12, 2013 Time: 9am-3pm (with the possibility of aftercare) Cost: $90. Malaria Campaign Total: $11,487...

...Doubled to $22,974 by Our Challenge Grant $11,487 is the total raised for St. Mark's malaria campaign. This is fantastic! Our challenge grant, which matched donations dollar for dollar, doubled that amount to $22,974. The remaining monies in the $25,000 challenge grant will be offered to congregations in our synod conducting malaria campaigns. Church Office Summer Hours

Summer Hours The church office summer hours begin on Tuesday, May 28 (the day after Memorial Day), and continue until Tuesday, September 3 (the day after Labor Day). Summer hours are Monday thru Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm, and Friday, 9 am to 12 noon. Holiday ClosuresThe office will be closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 27; for Independence Day on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5; and for Labor Day on Monday, September 2.

Interfaith Food Pantry Dates for 2013

The Interfaith Food Pantry is held every Saturday at the Old First Presbyterian Church. St. Mark's dates for the 2013 Pantry are: May 18, July 6, Aug. 10, Sept.21, Nov. 2, Dec. 14. Women’s Monthly Study Gathering

All women are welcome to come and study together at our morning Gathering. In May our group will meet on: Second Tuesday – May 14 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Fireside Room All women are invited to come for study at 11:00 and then at noon to eat their sandwich or salad and share fellowship. Host Home for Day Camp Counselors

Would you be able to host 2-4 college counselors for one week this summer? St. Mark's Day Camp will have 4 Mt. Cross counselors leading camp this summer.
